About

Organized by: AWS User Group Cebu, in partnership with AWS User Group Philippines and the AWS Student Builder Group at CTU

Tech is a continuous journey—we learn daily, weekly, and monthly, and the best way to solidify that knowledge is by building something real. Join us for a peer-led session at Cafe Brindle where we will dive into the Kiro ecosystem.

This isn’t a lecture; it’s a collaborative space where learners guide learners. Whether you are installing the Kiro IDE or mastering the Kiro CLI, we are going to get our hands dirty by building a functional application. We’ll focus on solving actual pain points—whether that’s a utility for your household, a tool to streamline student life, or an efficiency hack for your company. Or, if you’re just looking to have fun and explore what's possible, come build with us!

What to Expect:

Peer-Led Setup: We’ll guide each other through the Kiro installation process, sharing tips and troubleshooting common hurdles together.Problem-Solving Focus: We will brainstorm and build small, impactful apps designed to solve real-world problems.Continuous Growth: Embrace the spirit of the learner; we are here to explore, experiment, and support each other’s technical evolution.

Who Should Attend: Students, professionals, and anyone who loves to build. If you believe in the power of "learning by doing" and want to spend your afternoon turning ideas into code, this is the perfect session for you. Please bring your laptop and an open mind!

Note: While this event is free for all attendees, we strongly encourage you to support our generous cafe sponsor by purchasing your favorite drinks or meals during the session. Your patronage helps us maintain these collaborative spaces for future community gatherings.
