AWS Users Group Cebu - May Monthly Gathering

Cebu techies, we are back! After hitting the pause button on formal events for March and April, it’s time to officially reconvene the pack.

Let’s be honest—we didn't completely disappear. Our "sabbatical" mostly consisted of informal, wonderfully unhealthy huddles at Sugbo Mercado IT Park, crushing unlimited tuslob buwa and talking shop. But it’s time to step away from the gravy brain-fog and get back to business!

A Brand New Spot 📍

To kick off our return, we are moving to a brand-new home this month: Banok’s at the Capitol Site. We wanted a space that is much more accessible, centralized, and friendlier to our commuting student members. Huge thanks to Banok's for stepping up to support the community!

The Agenda: Reconnect, Introduce, & Map the Future 🗺️

Over the years, our community dynamics have shifted—just like many other tech groups in Cebu, we now have an incredible, high-energy surge of student members and aspiring developers alongside our seasoned professional peers.

Because we have so many fresh faces and we’ve been low-profile for two months, this gathering is all about breaking the ice and closing the gap. There are no intimidating, heavy-slide technical keynotes this time. Instead, we are focusing on connection:

The Roll Call: A casual round of introductions.
